In my approach to patient care, the person I’m treating comes before the disease being treated. Good relationships serve as the foundation of care and it’s important to maintain candid, two-way communication with every patient.
I started my career as a high school English teacher, but followed my desire to practice medicine and apply my education background everyday as a physician. It’s a great pleasure to meet so many people and experience all of the challenges and complex cases that come with internal medicine.
