Large Bookclub (9+ people).
Your group gets a reserved weekday slot in the Velvet Fox event space—tables and chairs all set up and ready to go. (Weekends are usually booked with weddings and other life-altering rituals, so weekdays it is.)
Here’s the deal:
🦊 Event space rental: $30 flat fee
🍽️ Carry-in food is welcome, or let us cater—buffet, snacks, full meals, whatever your plot twist requires
📚 No minimum purchase at the bookbar
📖 Book club book orders get 10% off through Tardigrade’s Bookshelf
🚚 Direct-to-home shipping or in-store pickup available

🥃 Heads up: Due to the weird little quirks of Wisconsin law, alcoholic drinks from Tardigrade’s Bookshelf can’t be taken into the Velvet Fox events room. However, mocktails and NA bevs are totally welcome. We know—it’s weird. Thanks for rolling with it!
Medium Bookclub (6-8 people).
We’ll reserve a table for your group at your scheduled day and time—just give us the heads up!
Here’s the scoop:
📚 One drink (or book!) minimum per attendee
🚫 No carry-in food or drinks, please—we’ve got plenty to keep you cozy
Small Bookclub (less than 6 people).
Come on in, pull up a chair, and get comfy. The bookbar’s the perfect hangout for small book club meetups—no need to call ahead, make a reservation, or clean your living room. If you're a crew of five or just a pair of bookish besties, we love when stories spill into conversation.
