Hey manga and anime nerds. . . .this one’s just for you.
Manga & Anime Book Club will be MC’d by our resident volunteer and enthusiast, Chris. Read the book or watch the film. The group selection rotates between subgenera. We’ll be hanging out, talking manga, anime, appreciating great art, and probably arguing about characters and plot twists.
New readers, longtime fans, and the manga-curious are all welcome. Many manga and anime works are part of a large series. Our group will dive into the first few of the series.
Come grab a drink and nerd out with us.
You’ll receive a consolidated monthly reminder of all the Bookclubs hosted by Tardigrade’s. Emails typically arrive at the end of the month, check your spam box if you haven’t seen one come through.
Our Bookclub Discords are an exclusive space for bookclub members to continue discussions beyond our in-person meetups. If you loved or hated the monthly pick, want to share additional reads, or just connect with fellow book nerds, this is your place!
House Rule: Don’t be a dick. We follow the same respectful and inclusive community guidelines as our in-store discussions.

We’re a family-owned bookbar in the Fox Cities. We live here. Our staff are basically extended family. We’re not a global conglomerate, and none of us owns a private island for parties.
We’re just trying to keep the lights on, stack the shelves with great books, and keep building a cozy, nerdy space where the community can gather.
